Arsenal XI vs Ipswich: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League

Bounce back: William Saliba will hope to atone for his error against Real Madrid as Arsenal travel to Ipswich this weekend - (ES Composite)

Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard and William Saliba all start for Arsenal against Ipswich.

After Wednesday’s famous win against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, Mikel Arteta has made just three changes to his side at Portman Road.

Ben White comes in at right-back in place of Jurrien Timber, while Kieran Tierney comes in at left-back in place of Myles Lewis-Skelly.

The other change sees Leandro Trossard come in and Thomas Partey drop to the bench, meaning Mikel Merino reverts to his usual central midfield role.

Arsenal are without Jorginho (ribs) and Riccardo Calafiori (knee).

“Jorgi is not going to be available yet, he is still struggling with that incident and Ricky [Calafiori] as well probably is not going to be available,” said Arteta.

In attack, Arteta may still be wary about Bukayo Saka’s minutes given he only recently returned from his hamstring injury. But the winger starts.

Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all still sidelined.

Kieran Tierney is on the Arsenal bench and would make his 100th Premier League appearance should he come.

Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya, White, Saliba, Kiwior, Zinchenko, Rice, Merino, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Trossard

Subs: Neto, Timber, Tierney, Lewis-Skelly, Partey, Henry-Francis, Butler-Oyedeji, Nwaneri, Sterling

Injured: Calafiori (knee), Gabriel (hamstring), Havertz (hamstring), Jesus (knee), Jorginho (ribs), Tomiyasu (knee)

Time and date: 2pm BST on Sunday April 20, 2025

Venue: Portman Road, Ipswich

Referee: Chris Kavanagh
