Arsenal XI vs Bournemouth: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League

Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka both start for Arsenal at Bournemouth today.

Saka suffered a kick to his foot in the draw at home to Tottenham last Sunday, while Rice came off at half-time with a back problem. Martinelli and Trossard, meanwhile, have hamstring issues.

Wlliam Salbia is also in from the off.

Mikel Arteta was due to make a final decision on his squad before the Gunners travel down to Bournemouth on Friday night, with Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber definitely out.

“[Rice] wasn’t available [on Wednesday],” said Arteta. “He had to leave the London derby [early] and he hasn’t trained yet.

“We have another session in an hour or two so we’ll have more news about him today.

“Again, [Martinelli] hasn’t trained. We want him back, we need him back, but at the moment he’s not been available. Same situation [for Saka and Trossard].

“They are all in the same pool. [Saliba] as well had a knock. Fabio wasn’t involved in the last game. We have a few. We have to see and adapt to the situation because that’s a big number.

“My hope is that everybody is fit and available, because we need them with the amount of games that we have already under the belt in the last two weeks and what is coming in the next seven to 10 days. We need them, so hopefully today we get some good news.”

Starting Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Rice, Havertz; Saka, Nketiah, Jesus

Subs: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, Kiwior, Elneny, Jorginho, Vieira, Smith Rowe, Nelson, Trossard

Referee: Michael Salisbury

Time and date: Saturday September 30, 3pm BST

Venue: Vitality Stadium
