Player of the match Vivianne Miedema produced a moment of magic to ensure Arsenal edged out Everton 1-0 in the WSL.
On a day when England captain Leah Williamson returned off the bench to make her 200th Gunners appearance, the title contenders managed to return to winning ways with a composed display seeing off the Merseysiders. In truth Arsenal could have won far more comfortably but were often wasteful when chances came, combined with an impressive display from Everton keeper Emily Ramsey.
It was the Gunners' 14 straight WSL win against the Toffees who failed to consistently test Manuela Zinsberger. The three points not only return Jonas Eidevall's team to winning ways but ensure they maintain pace with Chelsea who kicked-off an hour later against bottom-placed Leicester City.

Manuela Zinsberger - A solid enough afternoon for Zinsberger, who was rarely tested in the opening 45 minutes. Made a huge save late on from Lucy Graham. 6
Laura Wienroither - .Created the opener when her perfect cross-field pass found Foord in the penalty area, who in turn fed Miedema. A composed display. 7
Jen Beattie - Returning the starting XI in defence, Beattie brought organisation to the backline that had looked unsettled in recent weeks. Should have capped her return with a first-half goal but fired over from close range. 7
Lotte Wubben-Moy - A composed display from the centre-half, who nearly found the net with a header from a corner.. Made a crucial block from Jess Park at 0-0. 6
Steph Catley - Keen to push high up the pitch and help the Arsenal attacks. Once again linked well with Foord. 7
Katie McCabe - Captain for the day and looked keen to get on the ball in the first half. Missed a good chance to put the game to bed when volleying over. 6
Lia Walti - An improved performance after a couple of indifferent displays, linked defence to midfield well and helped Arsenal dominate the ball. 7
Frida Maanum - A quieter afternoon for Maanum in general, but she nearly bent in a superb free-kick from the left wing not long after half-time. 6
Vivianne Miedema - Showed a real moment of class to fire the Gunners in front midway through the first half. Never allowed the Everton defence to settle. 8
Caitlin Foord - Gave Lucy Graham a tough afternoon, constantly looking to run in-behind the Everton backline. Forced a good save from Ramsey. 7
Stina Blackstenius - Wasn't given a comfortable afternoon with Everton's Gabby George giving her close attention, but battled hard. Struggled for clear-cut chances. Replaced by Jordan Nobbs late on. 6
