Arsenal have announced the creation of a Women Matchday Forum in a bid to improve the experience for supporters.
The club have seen a huge rise in support over the course of the 2022/23 season on the back of the Lionesses' Euro victory last summer. The Gunners set a new record attendance in the Barclays Women’s Super League and achieved a first-ever sell-out at the Emirates Stadium for their Champions League semi-final clash against Wolfsburg.
Arsenal say the forum will provide supporters with an opportunity to discuss issues such as ticketing, pricing, matchday experience, access and community projects and it will become an important part of their interaction with fans each season. Having worked closely with the Arsenal Women Supporters Club for a number of years, the club believe the creation of a more formal space will ensure supporters remain at the heart of decisions they make moving forward.

“We have received unbelievable backing from our supporters over many seasons and even more so in recent times,” said Arsenal's Head of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley. “With confirmed plans to play five WSL matches at Emirates Stadium this season alongside matches at Meadow Park, it’s crucial that we continue to work closely with our valued supporters to ensure that we are able to deliver the best possible experience for all.
"The Arsenal Women Matchday Forum will provide our supporters with a space in which to ask questions, raise issues and work with us as we continue to move forward together.”
Fans can apply to be part of the forum by filling out this form by 5pm on July 6. Once that deadline has passed, the club will select a group of representatives which reflects the diverse community that supports the team week in, week out.
