Arsenal without four first-team players for Leeds United clash amid ongoing injury concerns

Arsenal are set to be without four first-team players for their Premier League clash with Leeds United on Saturday after the conclusion of the international break.

Leeds return to Premier League action with a bang as they travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on league-leaders Arsenal. Only three teams have managed to prevent Mikel Arteta's side from claiming all three points at home this season as the Whites look to join Manchester City, Newcastle United and Brentford in that regard.

As with Leeds, the Gunners had a multitude of players representing their countries during the current pause from domestic football. And although Javi Gracia may be cursing his luck with the likes of Tyler Adams - admittedly prior to the international break - and Max Wober picking up injuries, they are not the only ones with issues to contend with.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard managed to gingerly walk away from a nasty-looking studs up challenge from Man City midfielder Rodri during Norway's 3-0 defeat to Spain on Saturday. The playmaker was okay to continue but his fellow teammates have not had the same level of luck.

The Gunners right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu has been ruled out for the foreseeable after he underwent surgery for a knee issue. Mohamed Elneny likewise is suffering with a long-term knee injury and striker Eddie Nketiah has been wearing a protective boot after picking up an ankle knock that has seen him sidelined since the beginning of March.

The most concerning issue for Arsenal is undoubtedly the injury to star centre-back William Saliba after the Frenchman went off in the first-half of their Europa League defeat to Sporting Lisbon. Some reports suggest that he could be out for months, but as fas as Leeds are concerned, they will prepare to come up against Rob Holding who is set to replace him for their game on the weekend.
