Mikel Arteta will face his biggest challenge as Arsenal head coach when he welcomes former boss Pep Guardiola to the Emirates Stadium as the top two sides in the league meet in a huge title-deciding match. Arteta was number two for City under Guardiola and won two Premier League titles in that time and is in a great position to secure his third in his coaching career but will need to beat his former side in the league for the first time.
The bookies expect a close-knit affair in this match with Arsenal priced at 15/8 with Betfred while City are 11/8 and a draw is 12/5 ahead of the title-deciding clash. Arteta will be looking to put the Gunners' woeful run against City behind them but they will need to find their first win against Guardiola's side in 13 Premier League meetings with the last 10 ending in defeat.
For City, a win will see them level on points with their title rivals but go ahead on goal difference for the first time since November. However, the league holders have hardly had a mesmerising season despite an impressive 10-match unbeaten run to kick off the campaign. Guardiola is yet to see his side secure back-to-back league wins since the beginning of November and have lost two of their last five Premier League outings too.
