Arsenal vs Everton F.C. Stats Point To A Win For The Gunners

Arsenal vs Everton F.C. will see the Gunners look to return to winning ways after their draw with Fulham, and here we take a look at some key stats ahead of Saturday’s 3pm clash.

Arsenal vs Everton F.C. Stats Ahead Of Saturday’s 3pm Clash

Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Fulham will be seen as a missed opportunity for the Gunners.

With Liverpool’s clash against Everton postponed due to Storm Darragh, Arsenal failed to take advantage and could only close the gap down to six points.

Mikel Arteta’s side though go into their own clash with Everton on the back of an impressive 3-0 victory over Monaco in the Champions League.

Everton meanwhile have won just one game in their last six and go into the game as massive underdogs.

Arsenal Expected To Take All Three Points

When it comes to Arsenal vs Everton F.C. both the stats and the bookies would suggest Mikel Arteta’s side are the favourites.

At the time of writing with odds subject to change, Arsenal are priced at 2/9 to beat Everton with the best football betting sites in the UK, with 11/1 odds for the Toffees to pick up their first Emirates victory since 2021. A draw is priced at 11/2.

Arsenal Narrowly Miss Out On Title When These Sides Played In May

It was a painful day for Arsenal the last time these sides met despite taking the victory.

Everton took a shock lead through Idrissa Gueye before Takehiro Tomiyasu quickly pulled Arsenal level before half-time.

Kai Havertz scored a winner in the 89th minute which normally would have sent Arsenal fans into rapture.

But it was a painful moment just moments later when the final whistle went, as they missed out on the Premier League title by just two points to Manchester City.

Martin Odegaard The Key To Unlocking Everton

It’s perhaps no surprise that Arsenal’s form has turned around since Martin Odegaard’s return to playing football from injury.

Arsenal failed to win four of the six games directly before the Norwegian playmaker returned to action – including three defeats.

Since his return Arsenal have won five of seven games with two draws against Chelsea and Fulham.

Odegaard has created the most chances (17) out of any player in the Premier League since his return against Chelsea last month.

There has been some criticism over Arsenal’s ability to create chances in open play, but with Odegaard in the starting fold then they have a player who can create those chances for attacking players.
