Arsenal have been urged to sign Manchester United star Marcus Rashford next summer by former Liverpool player Stan Collymore. The Gunners are said to be interested in the England international, with recent reports suggesting that Mikel Arteta is eyeing a potential switch.
The 24-year-old would fit the age profile of the Arsenal squad currently being built, adding a mixture of quality, versatility and depth at Arteta's disposal. Rashford has under 12 months remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, though the club are said to hold the option of another year if they cannot agree a new contract.
Given the current situation, the Red Devils are said to value the striker at £50million, though it remains to be seen if that stance will change. However, Erik ten Hag has made his feelings clear on a potential stay, stating: "Definitely [want him to stay], I don't think he is out of contract [by June], I think United control the situation."

Despite that, Arsenal could still have a chance of landing him next summer and have been urged to do so by former Liverpool man Collymore. Speaking to CaughtOffside, he said: "Marcus Rashford would be a great fit for Arsenal.
"Away from the pitch, he's done some great work, but in footballing terms, he's been a Manchester United player for so long that I worry familiarity is breeding contempt. He knows what it's like to play for a massive club, so I would have no doubts that he could deal with the pressure of playing for Arsenal.
"I think Rashford would benefit massively from a move at this stage in his career. He's only 24 years old, so he still has plenty of football left to play."
With Rashford receiving more playing time under Ten Hag, it remains to be seen whether he will commit to staying in Manchester or move on. If he does eye a switch away, then perhaps Arsenal could be the perfect destination for him to rediscover his best form.
