Arsenal U21s player ratings vs Sparta Prague U21s as Joel Ideho lively and Hubert Graczyk mixed

Hubert Graczyk: Loud as ever, with one excellent close range save. However, some moments of poor distribution and could maybe have done better with the rebound that led to Sparta's goal. 6.

Josh Robinson: Not played much Under-21s football and shook off some early nerves to have a decent display. Some good inversion and contributions to the attack. 6.

Zach Awe: Showed good leadership to guide his young teammates through some shaky moments. Perhaps could have been more accurate with his distribution. 6.

Zane Monlouis: Showed good composure at times to dribble away from high pressure from the Sparta frontline. Solid defensively on the night. 6.

Elian Quesada-Thorn: Dallied on the ball on one occasion to nearly allow Sparta in but was good aside from that. One excellent low cross close to the end that should have been finished. Showed good positioning to invert at times. 6.

Bradley Ibrahim: Played some nice stuff at the base of the midfield getting Arsenal going but couldn't execute the manager's instructions of getting in behind the Sparta backline. 6.

Jack Henry-Francis: Couldn't control the game to the levels that he's capable of. Not to say he was bad, but he's set high standards for himself and he couldn't quite reach them on the night. 6.

Mauro Bandeira: Like the rest of the Arsenal midfield struggled to impact that game too much. A couple of decent efforts from free kicks. 6.

Joel Ideho: Some moments of really nice individual brilliance from the Dutch winger that were offset by instances of holding on to the ball for too long. Still the liveliest of all the outfield players. 7.

Billy Vigar: Hard to really judge Vigar as he was so starved of service on the night. Didn't get much of a chance to impact the game on the night. 6.

Kido Taylor-Hart: Had Arsenal's biggest chance on the night and while he deserves praise for the run in behind to get it, needed to show more conviction in the finish. Didn't do enough to protect the ball as well at times. 5.

SUBSTITUTES -

Matty Roberts: Couldn't do much to impact the game after coming on. 6.

George Lewis: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.
