Arsenal are on the verge of completing their second signing of the transfer window, with Declan Rice heading to the Emirates.
Rice, 24, will sign a long-term deal with the Gunners after a £105million fee was agreed with West Ham. Arsenal have already signed one international this summer after persuading German forward Kai Havertz to leave Chelsea in a £65m deal.
Mikel Arteta has no interest in stopping there, with more transfers on the horizon. A number of players could also leave the Emirates this summer - including Folarin Balogun. It's believed the Gunners want £50m for the United States international.
With that in mind, here are the latest headlines from the Emirates...
Timber agreement reached
Arsenal have agreed to a £38.7m transfer with Ajax for Jurrien Timber. The Gunners will pay £34.3m up front for the Netherlands international, 22, with a further £4.3m coming in add-ons. He will be the club's third signing of the summer after Havertz and Rice.
Arsenal saw a £30m bid for Timber, who has two years left on his contract, rejected last month. Arteta is a fan of the defender's versatility, as he can play at centre-back and right-back. Timber will now complete a medical ahead of the transfer.

Manchester United were interested in signing Timber, but a move didn't materialise. "He's quick, he can play, he's good on the ball," Ferdinand told his YouTube channel. "He'll be a good addition to the team. I think he's an improvement on what they've got as well.
"I'd probably look at it and say him and Saliba might play. But I think it's a good battle there. If Timber comes and they've got Saliba, Gabriel, Ben White and Timber as a four, I'd be very, very comfortable with that if I was Mikel Arteta."
Xhaka heading to Germany
Granit Xhaka will complete a £21.5m move to Bayer Leverkusen shortly, according to The Telegraph. The Switzerland international, 30, has been linked with the Bundesliga side for some time and the transfer is progressing in the right direction.
Xhaka's move to Germany is likely to be announced once Rice joins Arteta's squad. The experienced midfielder has played 297 games for Arsenal since arriving from Borussia Monchengladbach in May 2016, winning two FA Cups and two Community Sheilds.
Partey price named
Arsenal will consider bids in excess of £30million for Thomas Partey, according to The Sun. The Ghana international, 30, is another player who could leave the Emirates this summer due to the arrival of Rice, with clubs in Saudi Arabia after his signature.
Arsenal signed Partey from Atletico Madrid in a £45m deal three years ago, with the midfielder playing 99 games for the club to date. He struggled towards the back end of last season, as Arsenal's Premier League title challenge collapsed.
Juventus are also thought to be interested in signing Partey, who has two years remaining on his existing deal.
