Arsenal head into this weekend on the back of a disappointing week with losses to Crystal Palace and Brighton. Those defeats have seen the Gunners lose ground in the race for the fourth Champions League spot.
But Mikel Arteta's side have the opportunity to get back on the right path against Southampton on Saturday. The Saints were thrashed 6-0 by Chelsea last time out.
Arsenal will be hoping to return to form in the build-up to their crucial clash with north London Tottenham rivals on May 11, which will likely go a long way in deciding who takes the final qualification place.

If Arsenal are able to secure the fourth spot and qualification to the Champions League, they'll look to keep that place for years to come and have an important transfer window ahead of them this summer.
They will look to strengthen the group, with a number of potential key signings being targeted. After losing Pierre Emerick Aubameyang in January and with Alexandre Lacazette likely to leave when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign, a striker will be an area of need which they will address - with three big European targets linked today.
Arsenal could pay £60m asking price for Lautaro Martinez
Arsenal are one of many sides who are reportedly eyeing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, who could leave Italy this summer. Italian outlet Calciomercato.it have reported that the Argentine striker is unhappy at Inter having lost his place as a regular in the side to new signing Edin Dzeko, who has hit the ground running in Milan.
Martinez still boasts impressive stats though, scoring 16 goals this season whilst impressing against Liverpool at Anfield. Martinez had a £92million release clause which expired last summer, with the outlet reporting that an offer of around £60million could now see Inter sell the 24-year-old.
And Corriere dello Sport have claimed that Arsenal could be willing to pay the price, as they look for long-term replacements for both Aubameyang and Lacazette. Manchester United and Spurs are also reportedly interested.
Darwin Nunez opens door to potential summer exit
The second-highest goalscorer in Europe behind Robert Lewandowski is a man expected to be highly in-demand this summer - and Benfica's Darwin Nunez impressed against Liverpool for the second time last night. Nunez has 24 league goals this campaign in a breakout season for the Uruguayan, and has been linked with a number of big European clubs.
He had the ball in the back of the net three times at Anfield, although two ruled out for offside. And Nunez is attracting attention from a host of European clubs. Speaking after the loss to Liverpool, Nunez appeared to leave the door open for a potential exit. He said: "My future? I want to stay focused on Benfica until the end of the season, then we’ll see."
Arsenal set sights on Danilo
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Palmeiras midfielder Danilo. That's according to La Lazio Siamo Noi who state that Edu has been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old and the Gunners are keen to bring him in this summer. Danilo has been described a complete midfielder, capable of playing in defensive midfield or as a box-to-box player.
