Arsenal have been given updates on a few potential signings ahead of a big summer coming up this year.
It's fair to say that Arsenal had their most successful transfer windows in a decade, spending a record £140million to bring in Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Takehiro Tomyasu, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Martin Odegaard.
And after Arsenal failed to sign any of their transfer targets in January, they'll certainly be looking to the summer to continue to build on their improving squad.
But they'll certainly be in competition for a number of targets.
Here's the latest Arsenal transfer rumours.
Arsenal given Kalvin Phillips update
Reports suggested that West Ham United tabled a late bid to sign Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips in January.
Expected to lose Declan Rice this summer, West Ham could see Phillips as a long-term replacement. As well as West Ham, numerous Premier League teams are said to be interested - including Arsenal.
And the Gunners have been given an update on Phillips' future, as Leeds are yet to hold contract talks with Phillips this year over his proposed new deal.
90min.com reported that no talks are currently in place, with the 26-year-old keen to given a significant bump in his wages, or could leave the club this summer.
His current deal expires in 2024, but Leeds may be hesitant to meet Phillips' demands due to their wage expenditure - which Arsenal would likely have no problem paying.
Phillips is expected to be valued at around £55million.
Arsenal linked with 'next Zlatan Ibrahimovic'
Arsenal are in obvious need of a new striker after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's exit while Alexander Lacazette's performance levels declining and his contract set to expire.
And one man who has been heavily linked to the Emirates is Sassuolo's Gianluca Scamacca - who has been dubbed the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The 23-year-old striker is enjoying a solid season in Serie A, scoring nine goals in 23 league games.
Being physically gifted at 6ft 5ins whilst also being athletic, the comparisons to Ibrahimovic are easy to make.
However, Arsenal are expected to be in a race with Inter Milan this summer to secure his services.
Gunners 'frontrunners' for AC Milan attacker
The Express has reported that Arsenal are one of many teams interested in AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao ahead of this summer.
Leao was signed for a lofty £32million from Lille in 2019.
Initially a striker, Leao has altered his game and now thrives as a left-winger in Stefano Pioli's 4-2-3-1.
He has 10 goals and six assists to his name from 27 appearances in all competitions, and continues to impress aged just 22.
The report states that Premier League clubs are monitoring his progress ahead of a potential summer move, but Arsenal have been touted as frontrunners for the 22-year-old's signature, as they are currently showing the most interest.
