Your Arsenal morning transfer round-up on Friday, January 27.
Onana rejects Chelsea
Arsenal have been handed a huge boost in the race to sign Everton star Amadou Onana. The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from Everton following the sacking of Frank Lampard.
If reports from his homeland are to be believed, Onana has gifted Arsenal a free run at exacting their Mykhailo Mudryk revenge on Chelsea. According to Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, the Blues are confident that they can agree a deal with the Toffees for the £50million-rated youngster.
But the report also states that Onana has rejected a move to Stamford Bridge as he looks to focus on keeping Everton in the top-flight. Het Nieuwsblad adds that a move to the Emirates Stadium could be more realistic following the injury of Mohamed Elneny.

Zubimendi transfer demand
Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi has been identified as a possible incoming following eye-catching displays in La Liga. The midfielder, who has also attracted interest from Barcelona, reportedly favours a move to the Premier League but it was said a summer move would be more likely.
Now, Real Sociedad have handed Arsenal a vital transfer ultimatum as we approach the final days of the January transfer window. The Spanish side are keen on keeping the 23-year-old at the club until the summer, and have told the Gunners they will have to activate his €60million (£52.7million) release clause if they wish to sign him, according to The Times.
Zubimendi only signed a new deal at the Anoeta Stadium three months ago and the club certainly seemed prepared for interest elsewhere. Unlike England, players in Spain have a release clause inserted into their contract to allow them to be bought out of their contracts for an agreed fee - as seen with Thomas Partey's 2019 move from Atletico Madrid.

Bamba interest revisited
The Gunners are on the lookout for a midfielder towards the end of the January transfer window and reports suggest that Arsenal may move for a long-term target. The Mirror claimed back in November that the Gunners were keeping tabs on Vitoria Guimaraes midfielder Ibrahima Bamba.
After his agent was spotted in London, reports from Portuguese outlet Jornal de Notícias via Sport Witness have said that Arsenal have moved ‘on the front line’ to try and sign the Italian. The player has a €30million (£26.4million) reported release clause although it is unclear if the Gunners would pay the full amount should they approach the club regarding a signature.
