Arsenal to sanction 22 transfers as Edu faces easy £13m decision amid 4-word Declan Rice hint

22 transfers to be done

Mikel Arteta could need as many as 22 transfers this summer in order to reduce the gap to serial league winners Manchester City. By his own admission, they are too far away.

"I know we’re not at that level, but we have to find a way," he said after the 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest. "This is not enough." To become enough, Edu will have to work some magic.

Declan Rice hint

West Ham captain and Arsenal transfer priority, Declan Rice, has sent a tantalising four-word message on social media as fans go into a meltdown over his latest activity.

The 24-year-old is one of the most sought-after midfielders in the world and has interest from England and Germany in Chelsea and Bayern Munich as well as from north London.

In a welcome message on the way to training he managed to spark excited Bundesliga viewers after saying: "Guten morgen, guten morgen."
