Shakhtar Donetsk continue to hold firm on their Mykhaylo Mudryk price tag which could see Arsenal move for Porto winger Pepe. The Gunners were linked with a move for the winger in the summer but chose to enquire over other attacking options, however they could reignite their interest in January.
The latest update in the transfer saga of Mudryk, after a significant increase in his price tag was confirmed by Shakhtar director Dario Srna, club chief Nicolini has addressed a potential move in January.
Speaking to TuttoJuve, he said: "Now it will be time to get back in contact with the club, the agent and Mychajlo to see if anyone will start a negotiation. He's a great professional, he'll leave these voices to his agents. We'll see if anything happens or not".

The frequent changes regarding the availability of Mudryk may see Arsenal look to bolster their attacking options elsewhere with Noah Okafor emerging as a possible option in January after RB Salzburg confirmed his price tag sits at £30m.
The latest possible alternative for the Gunners to bring to Emirates Stadium ahead of Mudryk has now been revealed with Record via Sport Witness reporting Arsenal are still interested in Pepe after choosing not to pursue a deal in the summer.
The 25-year-old has two goals and five assists from his 21 appearances for Porto this season and he featured prominently in the Portuguese club's Champions League campaign where they finished top of Group A with four wins from six games.
Unfortunately though the Gunners may face a similar problem that they will encounter if they enter negotiations with Shakhtar for Mudryk, as the report also includes the fact Porto have a release clause worth around €75m (£64m).
