Arsenal starlet Ethan Nwaneri is now a Premier League record-holder after he became the youngest-ever player to feature in the competition's history during the Gunners' 3-0 win over Brentford, aged just 15 years and 181 days old.
Eyebrows were raised when the schoolboy was listed as a substitute after impressing boss Mikel Arteta with his performances for the under-21s side so far this season, and his cameo at the Brentford Community Stadium means Nwaneri overtook Liverpool's Harvey Elliot (16y 30d) as the Premier League's youngest-ever player.
He also now holds the title of Arsenal's youngest-ever appearance-maker, breaking the record set by Jack Wilshere in September 2008 in a 4-0 victory against Blackburn Rovers (16y 256d).

Supporters revelled in such an occasion by taunting Brentford fans with chants of 'Ethan Nwaneri, he's only 15' and 'he's got school in the morning.'
Goals from William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira secured an admirable win for the visitors, ensuring Arteta's side head into the international break placed top of the Premier League.
