Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus was absent from training ahead of the team’s flight to Norway to face Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League group stage. The Brazilian was involved in a collision with Kostas Tsimikas in the 3-2 win over Liverpool but was cleared to continue.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said after the match: “I don’t know, I haven’t been with the doctor yet. I’m sure they are checking him. He seemed ok after the game; I don’t know actually what happened, but we’ll assess how well he is.
In light of Jesus’ absence, Eddie Nketiah is in line to make his third start of the competition. However, there could be a chance for yet another young debutant under the Spaniard.

19-year-old striker Khayon Edwards was present at the final senior training session ahead of the flight out to Norway. Edwards took on the role of the under-21s starting striker from Folarin Balogun after he was promoted to the senior squad and subsequently sent on loan to Reims, where he is enjoying a stellar season so far.
Having just returned from an injury that meant he missed four matches for Mehmet Ali's side but made a substitute appearance in last Saturday's game against Spurs. football.london was in attendance, but the forward was not afforded much in the shape of chances in his 26-minute stint.
Prior to the injury, he had two goals and an assist in the opening three matches of the season, with all goal contributions coming against Manchester United and Chelsea's youth sides.
It looked for some time that Edwards might not be an Arsenal player this season. football.london understands both Chelsea and Brighton made approaches to Edwards last season, with his deal set to expire in the summer.
However, the Gunners managed to secure his future, and he signed his first professional contract with the club. Speaking afterward, he sounded committed to the project.
"I'm very delighted to have signed my first professional contract," Edwards told Arsenal Media.
"I've worked hard for this moment. It's been a very important season for me, but now it's time to step up and prove what I've proved time and time again."
That time to step up may come even sooner than expected, with the potential to be in the squad for Bodo/Glimt. Arteta has shown he is not afraid to give opportunities to young players and proved that with Ethan Nwaneri becoming the Premier League's youngest player against Brentford last month.
