Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes has sent Nuno Tavares a message of support following the Portuguese defender was loaned out.
The Gunners confirmed Tavares has sealed a season-long loan move to Marseille for the 2022/23 campaign. The 22-year-old struggled in his debut season at the Emirates Stadium, with Mikel Arteta rotating between Tavares and Kieran Tierney at left-back due to injury and form issues.
The arrival of £32million signing Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City saw Tavares drop down the pecking order, with the club allowing him to leave in search of regular first team football next term. Gabriel has sent a message of support to his defensive partner following Tavares' move to Marseille in a comment on Instagram.

Tavares only made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners last term after arriving from Benfica in the summer. Arsenal star Gabriel has offered his support for the young defender on Instagram, as he commented: "Let’s go my brother. Cheering for you."
Arsenal confirmed the Portuguese defender's move earlier this week after releasing a statement which said: "Nuno Tavares has joined Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille on a season-long loan deal. Everyone at Arsenal wishes Nuno all the best this coming season with Marseille."
Gabriel has featured in each of the Gunners' last two pre-season fixtures, keeping back-to-back clean sheets as Mikel Arteta prepares his squad for the Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on Friday.
The north London outfit are yet to concede a goal when Ben White, Gabriel, William Saliba and Zinchenko have started in defence ahead of Aaron Ramsdale, hinting at Arteta's preferred defensive line-up for the 2022/23 campaign.
