Darren Bent believes Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli could give Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot a torrid time at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Martinelli will be looking to continue his fine start to the season against the Red Devils. The 21-year-old has started every game so far this term and has scored three goals in five games, including in the midweek win over Aston Villa.
After playing 21 times in the Premier League last season, Martinelli looks set to be a regular for the Gunners this term. At the moment, he is one of the first names on the team sheet and has played a key role in an attack which has scored 13 goals in five matches, with Arsenal sitting pretty at the top of the division.
The Brazilian is set to go up against United right-back Dalot on Sunday. The 23-year-old has started all five of the Red Devils' fixtures so far and has been shown a yellow card in his last three appearances.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Bent believes the Portuguese defender will be in for a difficult afternoon against the in-form Martinelli.
“I can’t wait until Martinelli gets hold of him,” Bent told talkSPORT. "I tell you that, runs past him like he’s not even there.”
