Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus posts positive five-word injury update following knee surgery

Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has shared the latest update on his recovery from knee surgery after suffering an injury to his medial collateral ligament at the World Cup. Arsenal confirmed Jesus underwent successful surgery last Tuesday (December 6) with the 25-year-old set to be out until February at the earliest.

With Richarlison ahead of Jesus in the pecking order in the Brazil squad, the Gunners forward had to settle for cameos from the bench in the opening two group stage matches before being named in the starting XI for the clash against Cameroon with Tite's side already into the knockout stages.

However, mid-way through the second half Jesus was substituted because of a suspected injury which was later confirmed to need surgery in order to fix.
