Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe has described summer signing Gabriel Jesus as 'ridiculous' ahead of the Crystal Palace Premier League opener on Friday.
With less than three days to go until the start of the new campaign with a revenge trip to Selhurst Park on the agenda, the Gunners have a lot of pressure to maintain the impressive form shown in pre-season. Manager Mikel Arteta will hope that his side can get over the line this time round in the Premier League top four race, as well as doing a lot better in the domestic cup competitions.
Last season was meant to unfold just like that but as already well documented, things went wrong and this will be showcased with the upcoming 'All or Nothing' documentary which is scheduled to be released on Thursday, August 4. As already seen in the preview clips, there is a lot of drama whether it's the training ground bust-up or Arteta's inspirational speech to look forward to but what have the players made of all the drama surrounding the series?

Well, Hale End graduate Smith Rowe has spilled the beans on this subject with his 'exciting' verdict that he has delivered to the Vibe with FIVE podcast. "I'm excited to be honest," he said.
"Honestly, it was something new for us to go through during the season with the good and bad times but we are all buzzing to watch it. It's good to be involved in something like this. Obviously I have watched a couple of the other clubs documentaries and they have been fun to watch, so I cannot wait."
When asked about his proudest moment of the documentary, the 21-year-old responded: "I think it is going to have to be the North London Derby win, just because as a kid you dream of being involved in a game like that. I think during Covid, I played against them but the fans and my family weren't there as well.
"I'm just excited to see the game and the highlights and the fans' reactions."
Of course, in that 3-1 home victory at the Emirates Stadium, Smith Rowe assisted the now gone Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is now a Barcelona player after the Gabonese international fell out with Arteta.
Fast forward from that moment to now and the Englishman will hope to assist new striker Gabriel Jesus on a regular occurrence. The Brazilian signed from Man City for £45million and has already justified that price-tag with his electric form in pre-season which has seen him net seven goals.
"The players that have come back [from loans], I already know how good they are so it’s not a surprise to see how good they are and how well they are doing," Arsenal's number 10 said when asked about who he has been most impressed with so far out of the five new recruits.
"But from the new players, I think Gabriel Jesus. I didn’t actually realise how sharp he was! Obviously I’ve played against him and watched Man City a lot but when you actually see him in training… I’ve been telling my friends that he’s ridiculous.
"Everyone in the team is really excited for the new season and the fans should be as well I think."
