Arsenal star drops team news hint and sends bizarre Liverpool message ahead of Man Utd clash

Arsenal youngster Marquinhos has sent a bizarre Liverpool message after hinting that he will be included in the matchday squad against Manchester United.

The Gunners have enjoyed a perfect start to the new Premier League season by winning all five of their opening fixtures. Mikel Arteta has seen five new first team arrivals, including Marquinhos who now features in the matchday squad for Arsenal following Nicolas Pepe's loan exit to OGC Nice.

The young Brazilian was brought in from Sao Paulo as the first summer signing, with the Gunners spending over £100million for a second successive summer. Marquinhos has hinted he will be involved in some capacity for the clash against United with a post on social media that included a strange Liverpool message.

Club captain Martin Odegaard, Aaron Ramsdale and Oleksandr Zinchenko have all travelled with the matchday squad after being classed as doubts ahead of the game at Old Trafford. The Gunners will be without Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny with both midfielders recovering from injuries suffered earlier this week.

Marquinhos is set to be selected on the Arsenal substitutes bench by Mikel Arteta and has posted on social media ahead of the huge match against United. The young Brazilian's pre-match post included the lyrics of Liverpool's anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone.

Fans spotted the strange message in the 19-year-old's post and can't seem to understand why the lyrics are present in the post. Arsenal will be hoping that they are instead walking alone at the top of the Premier League with a sixth win from six and move four points clear of Manchester City after Pep Guardiola's side dropped points for a second time this season.
