Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has sent a message to UFC fighter Conor McGregor after the two were seen play-fighting at the Emirates Stadium.
McGregor was at the Emirates to see Arsenal defeat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 in the Champions League last week.
The Irish fighter was a corporate guest on the night and had a kickabout with Declan Rice as well as messing about with Saka.
In the video Saka looks to be less than comfortable with McGregor’s repeated advances, gesturing for him to ease off.
However, the England international has since posted a picture of the pair on Instagram in a bid to calm the controversy.
Saka wrote: “Good to meet you @thenotoriousmma. No harm done just a friendly spar” along with a laughing emoji.
McGregor received VIP tickets through third party company 1Access and apparently ignored requests from club officials to remain on the sidelines.
Saka emerged from the incident unscathed, going on to score in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Southampton on Saturday.
He has since linked up with the England squad for training at St Georges Park and is expected to start their Nations League clash with Greece on Thursday.
