Arsenal star Ben White has reacted to Marcelo Bielsa leaving his role as manager of Leeds United.
The news was confirmed via an official statement on the club website, which said: "Leeds United can today confirm the club have parted company with head coach Marcelo Bielsa. The 66-year-old was in charge of the team for over three-and-a-half years, having taken the reins in June 2018."
The news comes on the back of the club's 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road, with Son Heung-min, Harry Kane, Matt Doherty and Dejan Kulusevski all adding their names onto the scoresheet in a comprehensive victory that followed a 4-2 defeat against Man United and a 6-0 hammering by Liverpool in the last week.
In response to the news, White posted a heart emoji, added with a picture of Leeds celebrating their promotion to the English top-flight in 2020 on his Instagram story.
The England international is on course to having an excellent first season for the north Londoners and has been part of a backline that has managed to keep eleven clean sheets this season.
A large portion of White's development should be credited to Bielsa, who ensured that the 24-year-old knows exactly what's required to succeed in the modern game.
During his time at Leeds, White was tasked to operate in a high line along with being given significant responsibility in possession, tasked with providing ball progression from deeper areas.

Not to mention that the 6ft defender needed to be comfortable in defending in isolation because of the man-marking methods Bielsa believes in and doesn't deviate away from.
Essentially, the aggressive role the former Lille manager gave White along with the learning he received at Brighton has helped him deliver immediately in an Arsenal shirt.
