Ben White missed England training on the eve of Tuesday’s World Cup clash with Wales.
The Arsenal defender sat out the session on Monday due to illness. White is yet to play a minute in Qatar and looks set to miss England’s final Group B fixture.
The remaining 25 players in the squad trained in 30-degree heat at the Al Wakrah Sports Complex, including James Maddison as he pushes to be involved against Wales.
Maddison missed England’s first two games of the tournament due to a knee issue but hopes to be involved in what is being dubbed the “Battle of Britain”.
Gareth Southgate is not planning wholesale changes against Wales but he is considering refreshing his forward line.
There is clamour for Phil Foden to start, while Jack Grealish is pushing for his first World Cup start after scoring as a substitute against Iran and doing well off the bench against the United States.
Southgate could rest Bukayo Saka, who faded in the second half against the US before being substituted.
