Lucas Torreira has admitted that there is 'no chance' he will stay at Arsenal after spending the last couple of seasons on loan away from the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners are set for a busy transfer window and they have wasted no time in the opening weeks, adding American goalkeeper Matt Turner, Brazilian winger Marquinhos and Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira to their ranks already. Manchester City frontman Gabriel Jesus is also set to become their fourth signing of the summer and according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the north Londoners' business is far from being finished.
Writing on his Instagram, Romano said: "Arsenal will announce Gabriel as third signing after Matt Turner and Fábio Vieira… and then it’s absolutely not over yet." However, technical director Edu will also be tasked with offloading a number of fringe players, including Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari and midfielder Torreira - who has now spoken about his future at the Emirates Stadium.

"We are having conversations with many teams, but my representative is in charge of that, today I am enjoying my vacation," the Uruguayan international told El Telegrafo. "It was a long year with a lot of competition, and it was exhausting; I want to relax with my family.
"What I wanted was to stay at Fiorentina, but it didn't happen for various reasons, so we'll look for a new direction." When quizzed on his chance of staying in north London, he added: "Chances? None.
"From the beginning, they told me that I didn't have a place, so I don't want to stay either because I suffered a lot, it cost me a lot to adapt and my idea is to go to Italy or Spain."
