Arsenal ended their dreadful four-game winless run by smashing a shambolic Chelsea side to keep the pressure on Manchester City in the title race.
The Gunners reclaimed top spot as they easily saw off Frank Lampard's Blues, who hit another low point. Martin Odegaard scored twice with the first 31 minutes to put the Gunners in control, with his first a wonderful strike from the edge of the box.
Just three minutes after Odegaard's second, Gabriel Jesus wrapped up the win by firing low past Kepa. Noni Madueke scored a consolation in the second half, but by then the damage had been done. Here, Mirror Football looks at five of the biggest talking points as Arsenal thrashed a dreadful Blues team.
Pressure on City
After a four-game winless run in the Premier League, Arsenal had relinquished their grip on the title race. Manchester City are now in pole position to finish top of the division, though the Gunners still have the chance to recover.
They will likely have to win all of their final five games of the season to stand a chance of overcoming Pep Guardiola's men. That started in fine fashion on Tuesday, with Arteta's men retaking top spot from City.
It was the perfect way to get their campaign back on track and though they are outsiders in the title race, this win will give them a boost. Their challenge will now be to replicate Tuesday's performance, with City still having two games in hand over them.

Captain Odegaard leads the way
Mikel Arteta's decision to name Martin Odegaard as Arsenal's captain last summer has paid off in bucket loads this season. The Norwegian again showed why he has been trusted with the responsibility as he led Arsenal to their thumping win.
He scored the opening goal 18 minutes in with a brilliant finish from outside the box that crashed in off the crossbar. The midfielder doubled his tally for the night just after the half-hour mark when he converted from 12 yards after being left free in the box.
Odegaard was also dispossessed just once as he helped Arsenal's midfield trio overwhelm the Blues. It was another impressive performance from the 24-year-old, who is now showing the talent that saw him named a boy wonder.
Chelsea's woes worsen
Chelsea were nothing short of a shambles at the Emirates as Arsenal ruthlessly exploited their many shortcomings. The Blues were all at sea in defence, with all three of the Gunners' goals preventable by the visiting rearguard.
But there was precious little sign of leadership in the Chelsea backline, which allowed Arsenal to romp away to victory. It was not only in defence where the Blues were second-best though, with the visitors failing to trouble the Arsenal goal.
It took until the 25th minute for keeper Aaron Ramsdale to make his first save of the night. The dreadful defeat leaves Chelsea staring at the very real possibility of finishing in the bottom half of the table for the first time since 1996.
Blues' summer signings exposed
Chelsea's transfer splurge last summer will surely go down as one of the worst windows in Premier League history. None of their signings have impressed and they were all badly exposed by Arsenal in this dreadful defeat.
It took 43 minutes for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to have his first touch in the Arsenal half, with four of his touches before that having been kick-offs. The summer arrival from Barcelona also failed to have a shot as he was left isolated against Arsenal's defence.
Raheem Sterling, a £47.5m signing from Manchester City, also struggled badly once again. He was the culprit for leaving Odegaard unmarked for the Norwegian's second goal and completed just 53 per cent of his passes.
Arteta's refresh pays off
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta made three changes to the side which was smashed by Manchester City in last week's title showdown. The decision to refresh his side arguably has come too late to save the Gunners' title hopes, but it paid off against Chelsea.
Jorginho came in for Thomas Partey in midfield, Jakub Kiwior replaced Rob Holding in defence and Leandro Trossard took Gabriel Martinelli's place on the left wing. All three played their part in Arsenal's impressive win over the Blues.
Kiwior, in particular, caught the eye as he added solidity to the Gunners' backline that has been badly missing since William Saliba's injury. Arsenal looked much better than their recent outings, with Arteta's refresh playing a key role.
