Roy Keane has claimed Manchester United striker and reported Arsenal transfer target Marcus Rashford has been playing like a child of late after the England striker was benched for the Red Devils' final home game of the season. Ralf Rangnick's side beat Brentford 3-0 at Old Trafford but Rashford did not make it onto the field.
Mikel Arteta is eager to bolster his attacking unit this summer and Rashford has been reported as a surprising target for the Spaniard, with the 24-year-old struggling badly for form during the current campaign. In 25 Premier League games he has found the net just four times, a disappointing return from someone who was once viewed as the country's most exciting young talent.
Whether the likes of Arteta or Edu see something in him that Rangnick does not at the moment remains to be seen as the Gunners look to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer. But ahead of the match with Brentford, Keane fired a warning over the player.

"He seems short on confidence. We've seen the quality before, but we’ve not seen it for a year or two," Keane said during Monday Night Football on Sky Sports. "I go back, I think he’s took his eye off the ball, with all his off the field stuff and that’s what I keep an eye for with young players all the time.
"He’s got that experience, he’s played international football, but he doesn't mix his game, he doesn’t look like he’s matured well enough. We’ve seen in a few games recently, even when he’s playing through the middle, I said he plays like a child. It’s like he’s not learnt about the game.
"I think he’s lost the eye of the tiger and he’s struggling to get it back. Wherever Man United want to go, Marcus has sort of been left behind. Again he’s been left out tonight, he must be sitting on the bench going, ‘where’s it all gone wrong for me?’
"He can get it back, he's shown it before, but when you do lose it, sometimes it is hard to get it back. I think the hunger, he’s got to get the hunger back into his game and make runs like Elanga tonight. Rashford has lost that hunger which is huge for a player. He is a talent but we’re not seeing it."
