Arsenal sent warning as Manchester City make Bukayo Saka and Jude Bellingham transfer plan

Manchester City's future transfer plans involve trying to sign England duo Bukayo Saka and Jude Bellingham, according to the latest reports.

Although the Three Lions fell short at the World Cup by losing to France in the quarter-finals, there's plenty of optimism about the future because of talents like the two mentioned. Saka and Bellingham both had incredible tournaments on the biggest stage, which if anything, has only increased their probable transfer demands.

football.london reported in October that Arsenal have the options to trigger a one year extension in Saka and William Saliba's respective contracts, as well as a two year option on Gabriel Martinelli's deal. Such a clause puts the Gunners in a far stronger position as talks go on with all three players' representatives.

However, as per 90min, Bellingham and Saka are on City's long-term transfer wish list. The report adds that Saka's representatives are due to sit down with Arsenal for further talks now that his World Cup adventure is over, but if he doesn't agree to renew it's likely that City will be given the green light to pursue a move in 2023.

As for Bellingham, he is also set to discuss his long-term future with his representatives and family, although Borussia Dortmund are hopeful that he will remain in Germany for at least another year.

The Gunners, as well as City and London rivals Chelsea, have been briefly linked with a move for the 19-year-old star, though it's widely been suggested that his preferred destination would be Liverpool.
