Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has compared Manchester City striker Erling Haaland to Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane and Wayne Rooney. It comes after a record breaking season for the Norway international since making his switch to the Premier League.
The forward has already scored 50 goals across all competitions, putting City into a position where they could win three trophies. They are still in a contest across the Champions League and FA Cup though, while the Premier League title is far from a sealed conclusion at this stage.
Arsenal are still pushing to lift the league trophy for the first time in nearly 20 years and lead the way after victory against Chelsea on Tuesday night. While the Cityzens hold two games in hand, Mikel Arteta has said his team must keep the faith, telling the media: "We cannot do that [lose confidence].

"To be in the position we are in after 10 months against the team we are fighting, being there and having the possibility tonight to be top. I'm not going to allow anybody to not talk about it and not to feel it, we have to enjoy it, we have to embrace it and we have to maximise the opportunity that we have because we don't know what is going to happen."
Despite that, the Gunners will need a favour from elsewhere as well as a potential drop in form for some key players, such as Haaland. That may not come though, as Gary Neville explained on the Gary Neville Podcast.
"He's [Haaland] a player that very rarely graces this league, they are normally at Barcelona or Real Madrid. In time gone by, maybe they would be at PSG. But very rarely do we have a player who would be considered in the top couple in the world as they arrive," he said.
"We normally have players who emerge into that after signing in this league. It is usually that those players would then go into those aforementioned clubs. But Haaland is a world star, who has come as a world star and is performing like a world star.
"Haaland has got the finishing of Harry Kane, the power of Wayne Rooney, he is unbelievable. Even the Brazilian Ronaldo, the power that he had when he ran, the explosion off the mark. Haaland is like four players in one."
It's a scary warning for Arsenal for where the title race could be headed over the next few weeks, but they just have to focus on winning games and hope results swing their way.
