Arsenal's next three transfers decided following Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber announcements

Arsenal have been one of the most active Premier League clubs during the first month of the summer transfer window.

The north Londoners have wasted no time in recruiting players, completing a deal to sign Kai Havertz from Chelsea for £65million. Mikel Arteta's side have also agreed a deal to sign West Ham United captain Declan Rice for a club-record £105million, as well as versatile defender Jurrien Timber from Ajax - who will cost an initial £34.2million with a further £4.3million in add ons, football.london understands.

Those two moves are expected to be announced in the coming days after the Gunners confirmed veteran midfielder Granit Xhaka had joined Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday evening. But their business is far from complete.

According to the Guardian, Arteta is keen to sign Southampton starlet Roméo Lavia as the Spaniard looks to bolster his options in midfield. It is also claimed that Arsenal want to bring in quality cover for right-winger Bukayo Saka whilst one of Folarin Balogun and Eddie Nketiah is likely to be sold.

A deal for Lavia seems likely contingent on Thomas Partey's future at the Emirates Stadium. football.london understands that Partey is one of the players the Gunners would be open to selling this summer if a suitable offer were to come in.

The former Atletico Madrid star has just two years remaining on his contract in north London. Reports have suggested that teams in Italy and Saudi Arabia have shown an interest, although it is not thought that Arsenal have received any formal offers at time of writing.

Meanwhile, talk of a winger joining Arteta's side has been relatively quiet in recent times, although one name that has consistently been mooted as a potential target is Leverkusen's Moussa Diaby. Like the aforementioned Saka, Diaby is a left-footed right-winger with bundles of pace - making him a fairly sensible option for Arsenal stylistically.

In terms of a potential striker departing, Balogun is available to leave at the right fee, football.london understands. The American international has interest from teams in Europe including RB Leipzig.
