Arsenal's start to the season has been nothing short of remarkable.
The Gunners have won 15 of their opening 18 Premier League fixtures, with their most recent outing coming away to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon. Mikel Arteta's side were gifted the lead by Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in the 14th minute as the Frenchman parried Bukayo Saka's cross into his own net.
Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard then doubled the away side's lead shortly before half-time, scoring a powerful driven striker past the helpless Lloris. That result means Arsenal are now eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who were defeated 2-1 by Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.

With that being said, football.london compares Arsenal's next five fixtures with the two Manchester sides, as well as Newcastle United and Spurs, who sit fourth and fifth respectively.
22/01 - Manchester United (H) - Premier League - 4:30pm
Up next for Arteta and Co is Erik ten Hag's United, who remain the only team to beat them in the Premier League this season. The Red Devils secured a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford back in September, with Marcus Rashford sucker-punching the Gunners on the counter-attack twice in the second half.
Arsenal will be desperate to avenge that at the Emirates Stadium this weekend and their recent home record over United will also fill them with confidence. In the two side's last four meetings in north London, the Gunners have picked up ten points from a possible 12, with Arteta securing his first-ever win as a manager in this fixture.
28/01 - Manchester City (A) - FA Cup - 3:00pm
Arsenal are yet to play City this season but the first time Arteta and his former mentor, Pep Guardiola, will do battle this term it will be in the FA Cup, not in the league. Guardiola boasts a hugely impressive record against his former apprentice, winning each of their last five meetings, conceding just two goals in that time.
However, Arteta's one victory over the Citizens came in the FA Cup, when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace handed them a 2-0 victory during the 2020 semi-final at Wembley.
04/02 - Everton (A) - Premier League - 12:30pm
Everton are the other Premier League team that Arsenal are yet to play this term and there has never been a better time to play them either. Frank Lampard's side currently sit 19th in the league table, failing to win a game since mid-October.
Still, the Toffees boast a very good record against the Gunners in recent times, winning three of their last four meetings. In fact, Arsenal haven't won at Goodison Park since October 2017, a record they will hope to change next month.
11/02 - Brentford (H) - Premier League - 3 :00pm
Brentford's first-ever Premier League match came in this fixture, beating Arsenal 2-0 at the Community Stadium back in August 2021. The Gunners were able to avenge this back in September of last year, clinching a dominant 3-0 win in west London thanks to goals from William Saliba, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira.
However, the Bees have been hugely impressive in big games this term, beating Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United 2-1, 3-1 and 4-0 respectively.
15/02 - Manchester City (H) - Premier League - 7:30pm
Arsenal then welcome City to the Emirates on a Thursday night in what could be a season-defining fixture at the top of the table. Last time these two did battle in north London, Rodri scored an injury-time winner to give the away side a 2-1 victory in what was a fiery encounter that saw Gabriel Magalhaes sent off.
But the Gunners are a different team this year and they will be desperate to prove their title credentials with the whole country watching on.
