Arsenal and Liverpool played out a Premier League classic on Sunday afternoon, drawing 2-2 at Anfield.
The north London outfit had taken the lead early on through a clever Gabriel Martinelli finish before Gabriel Jesus doubled their advantage with a little under half an hour played. However, the Reds fought back, grabbing a goal back on the cusp of half-time as Mohamed Salah poked the ball past Aaron Ramsdale from close range.
Salah then went on to fire a penalty wide of the post before Roberto Firmino eventually equalised in the 87th minute as the two sides shared the points in the end. But Jurgen Klopp's side have a number of chances to win it late on, with Ramsdale producing a plethora of exceptional saves - particularly when he denied Ibrahim Konate's huge chance at the death.

The England international's heroics meant that Arsenal's impressive record when scoring first continues. Mikel Arteta's men haven't lost a league match when taking the lead in 15 months - winning 28 times and drawing on three occasions during that period after going 1-0 up.
That just shows how far the Gunners have come during Arteta's stewardship, becoming one of the most resilient teams in the English top-flight thanks to the Spaniard. Sunday's result means that they now sit six points clear at the top of the table, although second-placed Manchester City do have a game in hand on their title foes.
When asked to summarise the game at full-time, Arteta admitted that a draw was probably a fair result all in all. "Super intense match", he said in his post-match press conference.
"We started very well, dominated, took it where we wanted. Scored the first and took the game where we wanted and scored the second and that was the moment to kill the game. Just before half time we gave them hope. We conceded a goal and they generated belief in this special atmosphere and stadium.
"The second half was a very different story. Not the way we started because I think we started well first few minutes. But then we didn’t continue to play. We gave every ball away, especially in dangerous areas and allowed dangerous results and big transition moments against the best team in the world in doing that.
"When that happens it's chaos, it’s a lot of balls in your box, it’s difficult to get out of those situations and then you have to suffer. We relied on big defensive moments where Aaron took a big part of it and they missed the penalty.
"Then we could have nicked the game, because we had three huge chances on the counter where they are overloaded or they are two against two but we missed that ruthlessness to take the game. Looking at the two halves it’s probably a fair result. You have to take it. The big lesson is probably to play the way we did in the first half."
