Arsenal's FA Cup third round clash with Oxford has been moved after it was chosen to be one of ITV's televised matches for that weekend.
The Gunners were given an away tie at the Kassam Stadium when the draw took place on Monday. Elsewhere an exciting draw produced a match between Manchester City and Chelsea, while Leicester could face non-league side Dagenham and Redbridge if they beat Gillingham in a second round replay to set up a David and Goliath encounter.
Arsenal themselves have had a disappointing record in the FA Cup over the past couple of seasons, losing to then Championship side Nottingham Forest in the third round last season, and to Southampton in the fourth round the year before. Mikel Arteta though will be hopeful of reclaiming the first trophy he ever won as a manager and will begin his campaign against the League One side.

That game will now be played on Monday, January 9 at 8pm. Viewers in the UK will be able to catch it on ITV 1 or ITV 1HD, and it will also be available to view online on the ITV Hub.
The game is likely to be a chance for some of Arsenal's second string to stake a claim for a place in the first team. With the Gunners now out of the Carabao Cup and the Europa League in its knockout stages, those opportunities will be few and far between so it will be crucial for them to take it.
