Arsenal's transfer business last summer is looking better as every day passes and no player encapsulates that more than Martin Odegaard.
The Gunners spent almost £150million before the start of the season as Mikel Arteta's rebuild got underway bringing the likes of Ben White and Aaron Ramsdale to the Emirates.
White and Ramsdale have both excelled but Odegaard looks to be their best signing when you consider they only paid £35million for the Norwegian.
That's incredible value when you see what he is doing on the pitch for the Gunners on a consistent basis as they close in on a top-four spot this season after a 2-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday.
Odegaard has been dictating play in midfield during Arsenal's five-game winning stretch in the Premier League and everything good the team produces appears to go through him.

His range of passing and vision is a sight to behold, but it's his composure in the final third that has made the difference as he seems to always makes the right decision.
Odegaard finished with 11 progressive passes, the next highest in the Arsenal side was White with three.
Arsenal seem to create a promising chance every time they go up the pitch, as a result, which was highlighted with their 21 shots against Leicester.
Odegaard is not afraid to get stuck in defensively either as Mikel Arteta praised both sides of his game.
"He was terrific again today in every aspect of the game," said the Spaniard of the Norwegian's display. "What he had to do defending, when we were high, when we were deep, in build up phase, what he had to do in the final third, the way he understands and manages when it’s needed.
"I think he’s come a long way since his arrival and he’s showing great maturity on the pitch. He makes the other players better I think."
Odegaard looks to be a bargain at £35m especially when you consider James Maddison, who Arsenal were heavily linked with in the summer, would have cost the club almost double that.
The Foxes placed a £70m price tag on the England international but the north Londoners were put off by that figure, despite Arteta being a huge fan of his.
Odegaard then became available later in the window and Arsenal knew what they were getting after a successful loan spell during the second half of last season.
But not even the Gunners could have expected him to reach these levels this quickly and it's now looking like a masterstroke as Odegaard outdueled Maddison on Sunday.
Arteta still hasn't decided who will take the captain's armband on a permanent basis as Alexandre Lacazette wears it in the meantime.
Kieran Tierney is currently vice-captain but Arteta has made it clear he is keeping his options open. Don't rule out Odegaard who is leading by example on a week-to-week basis and has a big future ahead of him.
