Arsenal reportedly open Richarlison talks as Barcelona set £17m price for Dutch star

Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League this season, meaning they will return to the Europa League next campaign.

Whilst Mikel Arteta 's side certainly improved, there were obvious issues with the Gunners' squad depth. However, that can all be resolved in the coming weeks and months as Edu looks to negotiate as best as he possibly can in the transfer market. With Arsenal needing to address plenty of positions, particularly up front and in central midfield, the Brazilian is expected to be very busy.

With that in mind, let's take a look at some of the transfer rumours that are floating around as things stand.

Memphis Depay

According to Sport, via The Boot Room, Barcelona will demand just £17million for Depay if they choose to sell him this summer. The Dutchman has been linked with a move to the Gunners in the past and a bargain price may appeal to the board.

Mathias Olivera

Getafe President Angel Torres has confirmed to Calcio Napoli 24, via Football Italia, that the two clubs have reached an agreement over the sale of reported Arsenal target Mathias Olivera. He also stated that a medical is scheduled for Wednesday: “if Mathias Olivera passes the medical tomorrow, he will be a Napoli player.”

Arsenal are now likely to focus their attentions elsewhere.

William Saliba

According to L’Equipe, Arsenal are willing to sell William Saliba for €30 million (£25m) in the summer transfer window. However, fans can relax in the knowledge that Arteta has made it clear that he wants the Frenchman to return to the Arsenal squad.

He told RMC: “William Saliba has to come back. He has the experience to be competitive with us. We sent him to Marseille for his growth. William wanted to be a regular starter as you know but now we want him back at Arsenal."

Richarlison

Arsenal have held initial talks with Everton striker Richarlison's representatives over a move this summer, according to GOAL. The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Arsenal for some time, with the club needing at least one new forward.
