The Gunners are eyeing Luka Jovic on a loan deal after missing out on Dusan Vlahovic.

Arsenal target Luka Jovic
Arsenal are interested in signing Luka Jovic from Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to reports.
Mikel Arteta is said to be ready to lodge a loan bid for the out-of-favour Serbian striker with the deal lasting until the end of the season.
Reports state that the player would be willing to join the Gunners as he is eager to prove himself in England, and reclaim the form he showed during his time at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Jovic has made 11 substitute appearances in La Liga for Carlo Ancelotti’s side so far this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.
Our view: After the failure to secure a deal for Dusan Vlahovic an option to bring Jovic on loan should be a deal that the Gunners pursue.
A loan deal until the end of the season will allow Arteta to make a big summer signing ahead of next season.
Arsenal set to sign Goalkeeper
It seems Bernd Leno is on his way out after football.london’s Chris Wheatley revealed that Arsenal have agreed personal terms with New England Revolution goalkeeper, Matt Turner.
Speaking about the goalkeeping situation at Arsenal on Bhavss14' YouTube channel, Chris said: “Matt Turner is being the subject of a £5 million bid from Arsenal and he’s a player they’d like to get in this month.
Turner deal is pretty much all agreed in terms of the player’s side, it’s just the two clubs that need to agree on the formalities of the deal. I expect Turner to come in.”
The 27-year-old has played at international level and was also awarded goalkeeper of the year in the MLS last season.
Our view: This deal is certainly a necessity due to the uncertain future of Bernd Leno, and it could be a shrewd signing for the price that Arsenal are paying for him.
Mikel Arteta spotted with Stan Kroenke
Arteta has flown to Colorado to meet with Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke.
The pair were spotted at an NHL match between Kroenke’s Colorado Avalanche and the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Daily Mail has reported that Arteta is on the verge of signing a new contract, which could be the reason for the link-up.
Transfer deadline day is also fast approaching, which could have been another topic of discussion on the pair's agenda.
Our view: It is rare to see Stan Kroenke with an Arsenal coach as he was rarely pictured with Arsene Wenger or Unai Emery, so hopefully transfers in the January window was one of the main topics of conversation.
