Arsenal take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League season opener on Friday evening with Mikel Arteta's side in fine form following a strong pre-season.
The Gunners looked streets ahead of Premier League rivals Chelsea and Everton during their tour of America and will be hoping to carry their fine form into the new season. Kieran Tierney, Emile Smith Rowe, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Fabio Vieira are all close to returning to the matchday squad after struggling for minutes in pre-season.
Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have hit the ground running after arriving at the Emirates Stadium from Manchester City, with Edu continuing to work behind the scenes to complete more deals before the summer transfer window deadline. Lucas Paqueta, Timo Werner and Youri Tielemans have all been linked with moves to north London, whilst the Gunners are also looking to move on a number of fringe players from their squad.

Here is Tuesday's round-up of the latest transfer rumours
Youri Tielemans deadline
football.london understands Arsenal have cooled their interest in Youri Tielemans in recent weeks despite the 25-year-old being keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners are yet to make an official bid for Tielemans with Leicester now having set a deadline for a deal to be completed for the Belgium international, as per the Evening Standard.
Foxes' manager Brendan Rodgers commented on speculation over Tielemans' future at the King Power Stadium after previously admitting the club must sell before they can buy after a frustrating transfer window.
Speaking after a pre-season win over Sevilla, Rodgers said: “There is that possibility [Tielemans could leave] but there has not been anything for him, we haven’t had any approaches to the club yet on that.
“Of course it is in the back of the mind, that sort of what-if scenario, but he doesn’t want anything to drag on either."
Timo Werner blow
RB Leipzig are understood to be leading the race to re-sign Timo Werner after Chelsea met with the Bundesliga side to propose a swap deal for a defensive target Josko Gvardiol, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea are open to selling Timo Werner this summer but his wage demands mean it could be difficult, football.london understands.
Arsenal and Juventus are said to be interested in signing the German forward, but a return to Germany looks the most likely outcome at present.
Lucas Torreira exit 'close'
Arsenal have received a proposal from Turkish giants Galatasaray for Lucas Torreira, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The deal would be a permanent transfer and the clubs are now waiting for Torreira to agree personal terms, with the Gunners ready to accept the deal.
Whilst details regarding the fee Galatasaray are willing to pay are yet to be revealed, the 26-year-old has been offered a three-year deal with the option for a further year and would earn over £3million a year, as per Calciomercato.
