Arsenal are ready to renew their interest in AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham, according to recent reports.
The north London outfit are in desperate need of a top-tier frontman after allowing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join Barcelona whilst both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are into the final three months of their respective contracts with the club. Now, The Daily Star have claimed that the Gunners are ready to renew their interest in Abraham if Mikel Arteta's side can secure a top-four finish this season.
The England international was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium last summer before eventually joining the Serie A outfit instead and the aforementioned report says that qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League will result in Arsenal offering £50million for Abraham at the end of the current campaign. The player is said to be happy in Italy's capital but reportedly wouldn't be averse to a return to London just 12 months after leaving Chelsea for Jose Mourinho's side.

Arsenal legend Nigel Winterburn has previously told his former club to sign the 24-year-old. Speaking to FreeSuperTips, he said: "Back in the summer when he was moving, there was a link with Arsenal, I don’t know how strong, but he fits into the bill of what Arsenal were trying to do.'
"A young player with huge potential, so my opinion doesn’t change that he would have been a great option for Arsenal. I would suggest that if he’s enjoying himself, then he wouldn’t want to move.
"He’s playing regular football, so I don’t feel like he would move back to England next season. I don’t see why he would move back, sometimes when you move and get that freedom, that game time you wanted and scoring goals it does wonders for you."
