Arsenal have identified Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain target Milan Skriniar as a potential acquisition with the Inter star set to be a free agent in the summer of 2023 when his contract expires. Antonio Conte is hopeful of a reunion with one of the players who helped him win the Scudetto in Italy, while PSG have outlined Skriniar as their priority transfer for 2023.
With two clubs already in the race for his signature, it seems Arsenal have also sparked an interest in the Slovakian star, especially with his immediate future uncertain. Inter are hopeful they will have a contract extension wrapped up by January 15, 2023, but Skriniar is yet to make a final decision on his future.
The indecisiveness in negotiations has understandably led to many clubs circling round hoping to pounce and either agree a pre-contract deal in January and sign him as a free agent in June.

Conte and Tottenham are in need of more defensive re-enforcements, despite the Italian's own comments, after they conceded first for the ninth game in a row in all competitions against Brentford. Once again though they were able to salvage a point with Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on target in a 2-2 draw.
PSG are also interested in bringing Skriniar into their defence with any talk of bringing Joao Felix to the club no longer on the cards as the central defender has been outlined as the French clubs priority signing for next year.
If Inter are unable to reach terms over a new agreement, PSG looked set to be the team to capitalise and thus agree a bargain deal for Skriniar, but Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have now put their name in the hat.
Calciomercato are reporting that Arsenal are looking for a new defender and that they may be able to overtake PSG in the transfer race, with that duo the only clubs referenced in the report as Spurs seemingly lose ground in their pursuit of Skriniar.
Eintracht Frankfurt star Evan Ndicka is another name linked with Arsenal as a defensive option with the Gunners said to have 'reached' an agreement for the Frenchman to join at the expiration of his contract in 2023.
