Aaron Ramsdale: Could he have done better for the goal? Perhaps but he was dealt a poor hand by the backpass. Generally OK aside from that if largely untested. 5.
Cedric: Got forward well and again put in consistently good delivery but with no one in the middle to take advantage. A few moments where he lost concentration defensively but another decent display. 6.
Ben White: Could do little about the Wolves goal and was nice and aggressive looking to win the ball high off the opposition. A little too keen to go long but still a good display. 7.
Gabriel: An awful early mistake gifted Wolves the lead and he looked a little shaken up in the immediate aftermath. Recovered his composure well after though and redeemed himself with an excellent late block from Neto. 6.
Kieran Tierney: His combination play with Gabriel Martinelli was really poor on the night as the Scot struggled to do enough going forward. Defensively decent enough but a long way off his best at the moment. 5.
Thomas Partey: Has been so good as the hub of the Arsenal midfield at the base, but struggled to exert his usual influence on the game. Played a little safe at times and misplaced a golden chance to play in Saka in the first half. However, when Arsenal needed quick ball and defensive cover towards the end he improved rapidly and was essential to a formidable comeback. 7..
Granit Xhaka: Poor in the first half as he was caught too high up the pitch in the early stages. Better in the second period but not what Arsenal needed as they chased the game. 5.
Bukayo Saka: Consistent in the final third in the first half but faded away in the second. Looked pretty tired when Arsenal needed him to deliver in the second half. 6.
Martin Odegaard: Norwegian struggled to get on the ball early doors, but grew into the game. As Arsenal turned up the pressure, he was the driving force behind it. 7.
Gabriel Martinelli: The Brazilian hardly had a kick particularly in the second half. One chance in the first half where he might have scored on the stretch, but not the kind of revenge Martinelli would have wanted after the red card two weeks ago. 5.
Alexandre Lacazette: The Frenchman ran himself into the ground but this was the kind of game where all his flaws came to the fore. Not good enough hold play and even worse finishing. Still popped up with a late winner so most was forgiven 5.

Nicolas Pepe: On a night where those ahead of him in the pecking order lacked composure the Ivorian came and showed what he can bring to the table. Goal and assist that were essential. 8.
Eddie Nketiah: Often criticised, the 22-year-old's excellent work to cut back to Pepe for the equaliser was an essential contribution after coming on. 7.
