Matt Turner: Had far less to do in the second half of his debut. A mixed first start, but he'll be happy with some of the saves he made. 6.
Reiss Nelson: Moved from the left wing to a hybrid right wing back role in the second half. Looked far more comfortable being allowed to drive straight at opposition defenders. 6.
Cedric: Moved infield from left back to right centre-back in a three and did OK defensively. Maybe a touch out of position to deal with the deep cross in the build up to Nurnberg's third. 6.

Pablo Mari: Had far less to deal with after a difficult first half. With two centre backs either side of him he looked a lot more comfortable. One very hefty challenge when left exposed though to get himself in the book. 5.
Gabriel: Hardly tested in the second half but looked far more equipped to deal with problem than those who came before him. Some nice moments of stepping out to win the ball back too. 7.
Gabriel Martinelli: Interestingly used as a left wing back. The hope will be we that we don't see him there too many more times going forward, but he did very well, grabbing a nice assist for Jesus' second. 7.
Mohamed Elneny: A howitzer of a strike for the equaliser. The Egyptian brought both intensity and composure to the midfield in equal measure and Arsenal looked better for it in the second half. 8.
Albert Sambi Lokonga: Looked more composed with the extra man alongside him rather than playing in the lone pivot that he was utilised in during the first half. 6.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles: Looked pretty good playing the hybrid midfield/wing back goal in the second half. Some nice passes from deep to unpick the Nurnberg defence and good athleticism to cover his teammates. 7.
Eddie Nketiah: Thundered the underside of the bar with a strike that led to one of the Nurnberg own goals, and looked so much better with Jesus up around him. Linked up well as part of a mobile and exciting two. 8.
Gabriel Jesus: What. A. Debut. Two goals scored and involved in two more to totally flip the game on its head. Brought intensity to what had been a totally tepid first half display from Arsenal. Looks to already be what the Gunners needed up top. 9.
Substitutes -
Arthur Okonkwo: Didn't have much to do other than picking the ball out of the net, but couldn't do much about it. 6.
Flo Balogun: Buzzing around as part of the two with Jesus in a similar set up to how he played at Middlesbrough last season. Didn't get too many chances to add to his goal vs Ipswich though. 6.
Salah Oulad M'Hand: Enthusiastic as ever to get involved and worked hard for the team. Didn't get too many chances to show his technicality, but those will come. 6.
Marquinhos: An uneventful debut for the Brazilian who looked a little nervous. Worked hard though and will get more chances this pre-season. 6.
Charlie Patino: Some nice moments in possession to show his unquestionable technical brilliance. Looks a lot more physically ready this summer too. 7.
