Aaron Ramsdale: A fine early save from Virgil Van Dijk but he has to do better for the goal after getting beaten at his near post. Looked a little shakey after that. 5.
Cedric: The Portuguese had an incredible first half looking good in tight spaces and attacking well while defending solidly. Unlucky to be left exposed with both Liverpool goals but couldn't really be blamed for either 7.
Ben White: Kept Sadio Mane very quiet in the first half and dealt well with Liverpool's rotating front three. Might be a touch disappointed that both goals came down his side and he was caught out dribbling a little naively in the second half. 6.

Gabriel: Lost the ball a little easily in the build up to Roberto Firmino's goal and was caught out by balls over the top on a few occasions. Feels like nit picking though as he wasn't especially bad just not as good as he has been. 6.
Kieran Tierney: Dealt really well with Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane in the first half and showed some great pace to keep up with them. Might have wanted to impact the game going forward more but can't really be blamed on that front. 7.
Thomas Partey: Just seemed to have a second more to think than everyone else in the midst of Liverpool's frenetic high press. Kept his composure throughout and was a real bright spark from the Gunners on the night. 8.
Martin Odegaard: His missed chance after Jordan Henderson's backpass proved to be something of a sliding doors moment in the game as Arsenal fell behind almost instantly after. Started well but Liverpool were very good at keeping him quiet. A sign of how important he's become to this Gunners side. 6.
Granit Xhaka: Did OK among a Liverpool high press that he might well have struggled with in the past but couldn't really help Arsenal get a foothold in the game. 6.
Bukayo Saka: Not really in the game too much as Arsenal struggled to create too much offensively. Suffered a little from how Liverpool were able to cut off the supply line from Odegaard. 6.
Alexandre Lacazette: His hold up play and leadership were typically good, but when it comes to movement in the box to capitalise off Martinelli's excellent work down the left he was lacking desperately. 6.
Gabriel Martinelli: Arsenal's best player on the night, he always seems to raise his game against Liverpool. Terrorised Trent Alexander-Arnold by going to the byline often and had the movement been better in the middle he would surely have had an assist or two. 9.
Substitutes -
Emile Smith Rowe: Couldn't impact the game as much as he would have wanted but again struggled amid Liverpool's impeccable pressing midfield. 6.
Nicolas Pepe: Did very little to influence the game after coming on but not for a lack of trying. The die had already been set by the time of his introduction. 6.
Eddie Nketiah: Bullied out of the game by Virgil Van Dijk. 6.
