Arsenal suffered heartbreak at Anfield as Liverpool scored late to snatch a draw that could have a big impact in the title race.
During a brilliant start by the Gunners, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus struck in the opening 30 minutes to put them two goals ahead.
Liverpool, however, hit back before half-time through Mohamed Salah and Arsenal had to dig deep in the second-half.
Salah missed a penalty and the Gunners looked like they had held out, but substitute Roberto Firmino struck in the 87th minute.
The draw means Arsenal are six points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League with eight matches to go, but Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand.

Aaron Ramsdale 8 | Star player
Made a big save to deny Salah when the score was 2-1 in the second-half, and another massive one late on to thwart Darwin Nunez. Then produced two stunning saves at the death to deny Salah and Konate.
Ben White 6
The right-back has been excellent in recent weeks, however he struggled today. Loose with his passing. Booked for a tackle in the first-half.
Rob Holding 7
Gave away a penalty after bringing down Diogo Jota in the box. Earned a reprieve after Salah put the spot-kick. Was largely solid overall.
Gabriel 8
Was tasked with dealing with Salah for much of the game and did well. Stepped up and lead the defence well in the absence of William Saliba.
Oleksandr Zinchenko 6
He regularly plays as an inverted full-back, but he was especially tucked in today. Helped Arsenal boss the first 30 minutes, but faded after that.
Martin Odegaard 6
Had some nice moments, especially when Arsenal were zipping it about in the opening half an hour. Drew a smart save from Alisson with a shot in the second-half.
Thomas Partey 7
Like the rest of the Arsenal midfield he was able to control proceedings during the opening 30 minutes. Dipped in the middle of the game, however improved towards the end.
Granit Xhaka 7
Involved in a flashpoint with Trent Alexander-Arnold in the first-half, which resulted in both players being booked. Kept his discipline after that, though, and did so much dirty work for the team.
Bukayo Saka 7
The quietest of Arsenal’s front-three. Created a good chance for Jesus in the first-half with a cross, but the Brazilian put it over the bar. Played a role in the opening goal.
Gabriel Jesus 8
Made it three goals in his last two games by heading home here. Led the line really well, tracking back and helping the defence too when needed.
Gabriel Martinelli 8 | Star player
Opened the scoring with a well-taken finish and had an excellent game. Setup Arsenal’s second goal and caused Alexander-Arnold so many problems.
