Arsenal player ratings vs Everton as Nketiah ends season in style while Martinelli impresses

Aaron Ramsdale: Will feel very disappointed to have conceded after how much Arsenal dominated this game. Made a decent save when called upon. 7.

Cedric: A goal and an assist for the Portugal right back. Soldiered on after a first half injury and got his reward. Good offensive display from the 30-year-old. 8.

Rob Holding: Dominic Calvert-Lewin did his best to goad Holding into a confrontation similar to his clash with son, but 26-year-old did well not to bite. Solid enough return to the side. 7.

Gabriel: Yet another goal for the Brazilian who ends this campaign with five. Will be disappointed to have let one in at the other end but is a real offensive threat from set pieces. 8.

Nuno Tavares: You can see there's a player in there with Nuno which is perhaps what's so maddening about him. If he slows down from doing everything at 100mph he can be an asset in the squad. 6.

Mohamed Elneny: Perhaps his last ever game at the Emirates and it was a decent one. Kept the intensity nice and high in the midfield. Probably could have tracked van de Beek for the goal. 7.

Martin Odegaard: Some lovely moments of close control, tricks and flicks in the first half. Lovely low finish for his goal late in the second. 7.

Granit Xhaka: Given a standing ovation from the Emirates faithful who booed him off just a few years ago. A sign of the turnaround he's had this year in particular and how important he's become to this Arsenal side. 8.

Bukayo Saka: An assist for the England international who has had an outstanding season. Deserves to be playing Champions League football and Arsenal simply have to tie him down over the summer. 8.

Eddie Nketiah: Got his customary poacher's goal from a flicked on corner, but the all round performance today was very impressive from Nketiah who linked play beautifully at times. Is it too little too late to save his chance of continuing this form at Arsenal next season. 9.

Gabriel Martinelli: Goal and assist for the Brazilian who ended the season on an undeniable high. Worked hard down the left and did a good job of protecting Nuno where possible. 8.

Substitutes -

Albert Sambi Lokonga: Brought on as an eight instead of a six and looked far more comfortable in this more box-to-box role. Perhaps a sign of where his future position could be at the Emirates. 7.

Alexandre Lacazette: Wanted a goal on what is probably his last appearance for Arsenal even ran in behind once to try and get it. Sadly no reward though for the Frenchman. 6.

Nicolas Pepe: Introduced for what could also be his last ever Arsenal appearance. Sadly not influential enough. One nice flick but no finish to end things off. 7.
