Aaron Ramsdale: Couldn't really do much to stop any of the goals as he was left unusually exposed at the back. A few heavy touches that invited Palace pressure, but he was by no means the problem tonight. 6.
Cedric: Dealt with the threat of Zaha pretty well on the night and although his delivery on the rare occasions that he did get into the final third could have been a little better, he was probably Arsenal's best defender on the night. 6.
Ben White: Lost Mateta for the first goal and looked a little too and was part of the Gunners backline that looked awful on the night. Out of position on a few too many occasions but was left very exposed as Arsenal had to go for it in the second half. 5.

Gabriel: Really poor in the way he misjudged the set piece for the first goal and out of character with how clumsy he looked for the second to allow Ayew through. Didn't get much better as the game went on and came dangerously close to losing his composure as things began to crumble for Arsenal. 4.
Nuno Tavares: A woeful return for the Portuguese full back on his first start since January. Arguably at fault for the first goal but most definitely culpable for the second. This performance will be a real concern given the rumoured severity of Kieran Tierney's injury. 4.
Thomas Partey: Usually so confident and dependable on the ball in recent weeks, the Ghanaian was hideously loose in possession in the first half in particular. Despite the poor performance the fact that the Ghanaian went off injured is arguably the worst thing to have happened to Arsenal on a wretched evening. 5.
Granit Xhaka: Decent enough in midfield in the first half but you wonder why he wasn't asked to perform a deeper role in Tierney's absence. Really solid at left back when he moved there in the second half and you wonder whether he may be playing there a bit more often as the season goes on. 6.
Martin Odegaard: Normally so accomplished technically, the Norwegian had several uncharacteristically loose touches and misplaced passes. A huge chance to nick one back that went begging as well. Compounded things by giving away a foolish penalty late on to really rub salt in the wounds. 4.
Bukayo Saka: Probably Arsenal's most likely threat on the night as he caused problems for Tyrick Mitchell down the right. Switched over to the left and seemed to have less of an impact but still the Gunners best player on a woeful night. 7.
Alexandre Lacazette: The ball did not stick for the Frenchman at any point who missed his only big chance of the game with a header over the bar. The classic issues for Lacazette were clear and Arsenal's inability to change anything is an indictment on the risk they took by not replacing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window. 5.
Emile Smith Rowe: Had two opportunities to pull one back and yet the England man, who has been red hot all season, missed them both. Symptomatic of this totally out of character display for Arsenal. 5.
Substitutes -
Gabriel Martinelli: A little more direct and caused Palace a lot more problems than his Arsenal teammates in the first half. Still not really enough though. 6.
Eddie Nketiah: Came very close to a spectacular consolation from distance and provided some attacking spark. Still not quite up to it when it comes to his link up play though. 6.
Albert Sambi Lokonga: Actually did a decent job of securing the midfield after coming on in an intense atmosphere. Far more secure in possession than Partey and a rare bright spark for the Gunners. 7.
