Whereas there is immense positivity at Arsenal, as they look to continue a push towards a first Premier League title in nearly two decades, the same cannot be said for Stan Kroenke's other major sports side. The Gunners are going from strength-to-strength in England under young manager Mikel Arteta and are one of the most desirable teams to play for across the continent.
The LA Rams. on the other hand. are struggling. They lost 12 of their 17 games and didn't qualify for the post-season in the 2021 NFL campaign. Ahead of the 2023 Draft they are also far from in good shape. So far, 17 players have gone from their roster for last year with just one player coming in. Having won the 2021 Super Bowl it looks set to be another season of pain ahead.
That number of outgoings also looks set to get even more inbalanced with reports suggesting wide receiver Allen Robinson is close to being traded away. Having joined on a $46.5million (£37.5m) contract only last year, the 29-year-old failed to impress in LA.

Unlike in north London, where Arsenal's recent transfer business has been widely praised, LA Rams have found themselves in major trouble with just 45 players on their books - half the needed amount - and only have 11 draft picks at this current moment in time with Jalen Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins a standout departure. Also, despite having a poor 2022, their picks aren't massively desireable either.
Add onto this the deal that is taking Robinson to Pittsburgh Steelers and it's far from a perfect camp. It is said that the Rams, who Kroenke purchased in 1995 before moving them to LA from St Louis, will only have the Steelers pay $5m (£4m) of the salary owed to Robinson while the Rams pay more than double that though they will receive a seventh-round Draft pick this year.
There is hope for the Rams though as they try and follow a system used by Arsenal in the Premier League. They have had success in the past with low round draft picks and trading with picks too. It's a method that has been used to create a young and hungry squad, something that has also started to work at the Emirates Stadium too.
