Arsenal news: Xavi Simons transfer update revealed as Gunners' next three moves decided

Here is your morning Arsenal digest on Monday, July 10.

Simons update

Arsenal are not currently in discussions to sign PSV Eindhoven starlet Xavi Simons, according to Dutch outlet ED.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the talented youngster in recent times. But it is claimed that PSV officials met his agent Darren Dein who has reiterated that the player's desire is to stay with the Eredivisie club.

Partey's goodbye message

Thomas Partey has sent Granit Xhaka an emotional farewell message after the Swiss international's Arsenal exit was confirmed.

"I am going to miss seeing you around brother (heart emoji) (heart emoji)", the Ghana international wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of the pair. Xhaka joined Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen, pocketing the Gunners £21.5million, football.london understands.

That move ends the veteran midfielder's seven-year stay in north London.
