Xhaka wins award
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has been voted Arsenal's Player of the Month for April.
The Swiss midfielder won a voted listed on Arsenal.com and narrowly beat Mohamed Elneny to the award. Xhaka has been in great form over the past few games, starting with the win over Chelsea and followed that up with a goal in the convincing 3-1 victory over Manchester United last week.
Xhaka said: "I want to say thank you very much for voting me as Player of the Month."

Youngsters to feature against West Ham?
The Gunners will be without two key players when they face West Ham United on Sunday.
Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney have been ruled out for the remainder of the season and will be sorely missed. Their absence not only leaves issues in the starting 11 but also a problem when it comes to finding players to replace them on the bench. But manager Mikel Arteta may have a solution in the academy system.
The Spaniard has had no issue promoting from within and with no additions coming in the January transfer window, has had to call upon the Arsenal youngsters to fill matchday squads.
Nunez transfer fee
Arsenal will be on the lookout for a new striker when the summer transfer window opens.
Senior attackers Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette will be out of contract when the season comes to a close next month and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was allowed to leave the club in January and joined Barcelona. The Gunners have been linked with a host of players including Man City's Gabriel Jesus and Benfica's Darwin Nunez.
And transfer expert Fabrizo Romano has told the club how much it will cost to bring the latter to the Emirates Stadium.
