Arsenal will have to wait until Tuesday to bury the memories of the four-match winless run which has derailed their Premier League title bid.
The Gunners do not play again until welcoming Chelsea to the Emirates Stadium in four days' time. The match could give boss Mikel Arteta the chance to scout N'Golo Kante, who is increasingly seen as being a summer transfer target for Arsenal.
News of the Gunners' interest in Kante comes as Arteta's side matched a dreadful top-flight record and Kevin de Bruyne opened up on how he celebrated Manchester City's thumping win in the title clash on Wednesday. Here, Mirror Football looks at the latest Arsenal news.
Kante emerges as target
Arsenal are hoping to replicate the plan that saw them sign Jorginho in January to bring N'Golo Kante to the Emirates in the summer. Jorginho had been a stalwart at the Blues since 2018, but found game-time hard to come by in the first-half of this season and made the switch across London.
The Gunners are hoping that Kante follows that same path, with his contract expiring at the end of the season. So far, Chelsea and Kante's representatives have failed to find a breakthrough in talks over a new deal.
With the Blues needing to offload a significant portion of their bloated squad, Kante appears a prime candidate to move on. While he has struggled with injury issues, Arsenal are eyeing him as a potential option to boost their squad.

De Bruyne opens up on celebrations
Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has claimed he was denied the chance to celebrate his side's win over Arsenal on Wednesday. De Bruyne played a crucial role in the win, scoring twice and assisting once in City's thumping victory.
It was a win that puts City in firm control of the title race and their squad celebrated wildly as a result. But Belgian international De Bruyne has insisted he was unable to join in with those celebrations because of media commitments.
When asked by reporters how he celebrated City's win, the former Chelsea midfielder ironically replied: "To be fair, by doing about 15 interviews. When I got back to the dressing room, most of the team was gone."

Arsenal equal miserable record
Arsenal have equalled their own miserable record in the aftermath of their dire defeat to Manchester City. The Gunners' title hopes are now on life support after the loss at the Etihad Stadium.
It was their fourth successive game without a win, the first time a team that is top of the divison has done so since they did it themselves back in 2008. Draws with Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton, as well as the defeat to City have sunk their title hopes, with Arteta admitting his team is struggling.
He said: "[Before the game] I saw the team really at it, and really confident that they were going to do something. But the way we started, we were on the back foot straight away and after that, we struggled to cope."
